C=Cat Challenge

On OWSE there is a current challenge to do some project with C for Cat. I thought I would pass this but then picked up one of my favourite mags and it had die cut “pampered pets” and paper as a freebie attached to it, so decided I would make an easel card with the cat.

Dinner anyone?

Well here’s a nice quick dinner we had the other night and the vegies were delicious!

Cut up brocolli, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot, cabbage add some frozen peas and what ever other vegies you have in your fridge, quickly stir fry. Goes perfectly with a nice steak 🙂
I know, I must be crazy, photographing dinner, but I thought I might actually scrapbook a few photos of meals one day!

Another Steampunk Fairy

Yes, I know I have already done a steampunk fairy, but I needed to make another for another fairy lotter/swap I am in, so here she is. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Distressed Card – Thinking of You

Hello again.

I’ve been playing again with inks and Graphic 45 paper and my new Tim Holtz embossing folder!
I embossed on watercolour paper this time. Not sure why, but it certainly embossed beautifully.

Then coloured it all with different distress inks, cut out the lady from Graphic 45 paper and stamped the sentiment on another bit of inked paper. Stamp from Unity.
Thanks for taking the time to have a look.
This post is to join in with the wonderful blog challenge at Hooked on Crafts

Join in, it’s fun!

Hi I added my card back into the post. I’m sure it’s been thirty days since it was published, so I can add it back 🙂

3D Sliceform Card

Hi I tried this out today. I have had this file on my computer for a long time. Anyway it came from a very talented lady Jennie Bean and I decided to try it out today.
I have to admit I found it difficult, but that doesn’t mean a lot. I find jigsaws difficult, so putting this together challenged me!
Anyway here is my card or Sliceform: first up the front on view, then the top, then sideways and finally showing how it folds flat to put in the post to a friend 🙂

Paper Shoe Swap

Hi again,

this swap was more difficult than I thought it would be. Anyway, I have finished it. There is not a lot of embellishment, but I am happy with it. I really struggled with this, but anyway I made it out of crafty secrets paper. I liked the kind of gold look with the vintage instep etc.. It was a double sided paper. The heel was the hardest thing to make but I think I got it looking kind of ok. Let me know what you think, if you have time!
Michele, I hope you like the shoe. It will be winging its way to you in the USA, tomorrow.
