Well I finally got around to making this today. Hopefully the next one will not take me as long. I struggle with written instructions when putting ANYTHING together!

Hi again, been a bit slack with the posting lately! I did an art journal page/s for a challenge. The challenge was to do anything, ATC, AJ etc including a song. My daughter used to love this song so I thought, why not..
I used lots of Dyan’s ink sprays, stencils etc and loved getting messy making it.

Oh one last thing. I enrolled in CJ 2013 and it is awesome. It is free and the techniques being taught are fantastic. Even if you know some of the techniques, it just gives you inspiration to start off your crafting year and as the title depicts… Jumpstart. I have loved it so far and we have a while to go until the end of the month!
And a big shout out to Blitsy! I received my new pink ATG gun today. What a bargain, even with postage to Australia it was an awesome price. No-one needs to know the probs I have had with the red ATG gun when it first came out and I am hoping this new one is all that the other promised to be. If you don’t know about Blitsy please look them up. The bargains are fantastic even for us Aussies…. Here is the link
So it seems all are quiet. I am working on a new art journal page. It has been a work in progress for a few days and tonight I got home and thought Hmmm something random. So took out the Dylusions spray and just spritzed. I think I should do that more. It looks pretty cool. I will post a pic of the finished pages when I am done.
I’m also trying to do the take a picture everyday for the whole year. I am already failing. I forgot the 2nd day of the year LOL.. Is anyone else doing something similar? I found that the pics I have taken so far have all been my daughter and I think I need to refocus and take some of other parts of my life….. Please share if you are doing this. Would love to see links to your pics etc
Wow, it’s the new year already!
What have you all got planned for the coming year. Or are you a fly by the seat of your pants kinda person? I’m a kind of take it as it comes kind of girl, so I’m looking forward to what 2013 will throw at me. Hopefully all good things, this year!
My mantra for this year (I saw this saying on the net somewhere but can’t remember where!) is
Take me as I am OR watch me as I go !
Look forward to sharing some more art/craft/stamping/journalling with you this year. Oh forgot to mention I got the new Dylusions Art Journal for myself for Xmas and started work on a couple of pages in it and I love it. The pages are holding up to everything I have thrown ON it so far!!

I made some cards from a cutting file supplied BirdsCards. She has some beautiful cutting files. These are 3D Bendy cards and when put together they are rounded at the front.
I also altered a cigarette tin using graphic 45 papers. Put 4 layers of varnish over the top. They seem to be a hit with my friends, now all wanting one due to plain packaging in Australia. I’ll see how many tins I can obtain before taking orders LOL.
I found a little mojo.. amazing what a stressful day will do for you… I went and hid in my craft room tonight after work and worked on this.. Anyway, I had fun..
Cuttlebug embossing folder pressed into gesso, Suzi Blu stamp, lots of Dyan’s spray inks and the stamp was coloured with Dyan’s sprays too. Then don’t look too hard my own handwriting with the saying. I had good fun with this!
